How to make a survey live
After creating your survey, you can make it live right away or schedule it to become live at a specific day and time.
Step 1: To make a survey live
1. On your methinks dashboard click on the Survey drop-down menu.
2. Select Surveys.
3. Click on Make Survey Available.
Step 2: Survey Settings
Choose between making a survey available right away or schedule it for a later time.
Make the survey live now:
1. Select Live Now.
To add an End Time:
By selecting this checkbox and setting a date and time for a survey to end, the survey will become unavailable once the date and time arrive.
1. Click to select the Set End Time checkbox.
2. Click on the End Date field to select the day you want to end the survey.
3. Click on the End Time drop-down menu buttons to select the hour and minute that you want to end the survey.
4. Click on Next.
5. Click to specify a target user for your survey. Select the checkbox to choose the best option for your survey.
All will make the survey available for all of the participants invited to your project thus far.
Selecting specific participants by checking their checkboxes will make the survey available only for the selected participants.
Select Available to all including any future participants to make the survey available to all participants recruiting thus far and for any future participants that may be invited to participate in your research project.
6. Click on Next.
7. Click to enter the estimated time that will take the participant to complete the survey.
Allow re-submit:
1. Click to select the checkbox and allow participants to re-submit the survey answers.
8. Click on Save.
Schedule the survey
1. Select the Schedule option.
2. Click on the Start date field to select the day you want to make your survey available.
3. Click on the Start time drop-down menu buttons to select the hour and minute that you want your survey to become available.
To add an End Time:

Survey lock:
You can add general and app test surveys in the same project on your methinks dashboard under the Surveys menu. In case of creating a general survey in an app test project, you will also have the option to add a survey lock to the survey.
By selecting the Survey lock, participants will only be able to access the survey after they complete the App Session time requirement.
1. Click to select the checkbox.
2. Type into the text field to input the test session time requirement.
8. Click on Save.
Survey details overview
On your methinks dashboard under the menu Surveys, you can view all details related to each specific survey, including:
1. Users who were assigned and have completed the survey.
2. Survey start date/time and end day/time.
3. Number of questions.
4. Estimated time needed to complete the survey.
